The Alto-Shaam 500-TH Cook & Hold Oven utilizes Alto Shaam's Halo Heat technology that gently surrounds foods with radiant heat without the use of extremely hot temperatures, added humidity or fans. Foods cooked this way typically have less product shrinkage, higher food moisture content, and much longer holding life. When expanding your kitchen units like this help to maximize your profits. Cook, roast, reheat and hold foods in the same Alto-Shaam Oven with set-and-forget controls. This low temperature oven maintains temperatures from 200°F to 325°F controlled by the simple on/off power switch and cook temperature knob. Hold temperatures range from 60°F to 205°F and can be monitored on the digital display. Use the simple up/down push button arrows to set the cook and hold time. Total oven controls feature indicator lights for the cook, hold function, and when the oven is calling for heat. This Alto Shaam Cook and Hold is ideal for today's kitchens as it also boasts an antimicrobial handle that protects against the growth of some pathogen types.
