Crafted with a durable 304 stainless steel exterior and a fully welded 316 stainless steel cooking chamber with coved corners, the EPX-5 stands up to daily use while being easy to clean. A heavy-duty door features a full perimeter gasket and a positive lock and spring-release mechanism to ensure a tight seal and safe steaming. Easy-to-use electromechanical controls include a 60-minute timer with audible alarm, constant steam or timed cooking modes, and an illuminated power switch. Indicator lights for cooking, ready, and add-water (with audible alert) keep operators informed throughout the cooking cycle.

Boiler-free steam generation using a powerful 15 kW heating element delivers fast and efficient steam production, all while being Energy Star compliant for reduced energy and water consumption. With adjustable 4" legs, removable pan supports, and a steam diffuser plate, the EPX-5 makes operation and cleaning simple and efficient.
