What Does O.C. Mean?

O.C. stands for on-center and is the standard for how faucet holes are measured. It measures the distance between the plumbing holes needed to attach the faucet. Many commercial sinks come with faucet holes already built-in, so you will need to find a faucet that matches them. Most commercial sink O.C.’s measure either 4” or 8”.


What Are the Different Styles of Faucet Spouts?

Faucet spouts are available in standard or gooseneck options. Standards spouts are straight, while goosenecks are tall and curved, best for allowing large pots and containers to fit underneath.


What Are the Types of Handles Available for Faucets?

Handles come in various styles, with the most popular being lever, wrist blades, and 4-arm. Lever handles come in multiple styles themselves, with single lift levers that can be swiveled to adjust temperature, as well as dual levers for hot and cold. Wrist blades are longer handles that curve upwards at the end to allow for hands free use, making them ADA compliant as well as more sanitary. 4-arm handles twist to turn on, with 4 small arms sticking out of a round handle for easy grip.
