Fry foods to the perfectly crisp finish with a commercial gas deep fryer!

Commercial gas floor fryers are built to withstand more abuse than countertop ones, allowing you to create fried dishes on the fly. Any high-volume kitchen that intends to serve hot, freshly fried items continuously throughout the day should have a commercial gas deep fryer. Most of these fryers are NSF Listed, so you can be sure your kitchen is up to code. Many options come with multiple fry pans, allowing you to cook multiple items at different temperatures at the same time without flavor transfer.

Millivolt vs Solid State Controls

We have multiple control systems as well, including millivolt and solid state. Fryers may be easily controlled without an external power source using millivolt controllers. A standing pilot light is necessary for millivolt ignition systems to work. In terms of precision, millivolt controllers fall short.

The fryer cabinet's solid-state controls, which increase the possibilities of the Millivolt Controls. Solid state controls, in contrast to millivolt controllers, are powered by an outside electrical source. Solid state control deep fryers give users more accurate temperature control, increase production, and extend the life of fryer oil.

Sizing

These floor model gas fryers are ideal for high volume restaurants, cafeterias, and catering companies. Since most of these fryers are larger models, they will take up more space than countertop units. Many units come mounted on movable and lockable casters, making placement around the kitchen adjustable as long as you have the appropriate gas line connections. Vat capacities range from 15 lbs. to 90 lbs.

Construction

For gas fryers you need to be sure you look at the appropriate gas connection size that correlates with your gas lines within your commercial kitchen. Most of these commercial fryers are constructed of stainless steel with galvanized sides and/or backs. The stainless-steel finish makes these gas fryers easy and quick to clean. Of course, cleaning out oil from a fryer will be easier with one of the commercial fryer filters or fryer oil waste removers that we offer.

Frequently Asked Questions About Commercial Gas Deep Fryers

Do commercial gas deep fryers need a ventilation hood?

Yes. Commercial gas fryers will always need to have a ventilation hood above them. Because gas fryers are so powerful, they release more heat, smoke, and grease into the air. This requires a hood system to keep kitchens cooler, safer, and more sanitary. If proper ventilation is hard to come by or unaffordable, Burkett offers both ventless fryers and ventless hood systems as well.
