Have all the power of a full size electric range, under a small footprint similar to a countertop oven. Electric hot plates are ideal for concession stands, food trucks, or snack bars. With their simple electrical connections, these portable ranges can be easily moved and used in a multitude of places!

Commercial electric hot plates are a great way to take cooking demonstrations on the road. Hot plates are also excellent for giving your kitchen an extra burner during rush hours. These burners are quick to heat, making reheating or fast cooking a breeze.

For cooking various kinds of food, especially those that require to be boiled, sautéed, pan-fried, or simmered, electric hot plates are fantastic. They are also small and compact, making them easy to move and store when not in use. Burners

Electric hot plate ranges come in single or double burner configurations. Double burner ranges will have larger widths or lengths, however, they also increase production. Burners can be found in either ceramic glass, flat spiral, and solid iron cast designs.


Temperature Control

Temperature controls come available in either thermostatic or infinite. Thermostatic controls allow you to select precise temperatures, while infinite controls give you more of a general heating temperature.


Sizing

Portable electric ranges come in compact sizes with either single or double burners. Widths stay under 25" to ensure they can comfortably sit on counters. Portable hot plates are designed with either burners sitting next to each other, or with one in front of the other.

When purchasing an electric range, decide whether you want a wider or deeper unit. The difference in the way your hot plate is configured should be dependent on your kitchen counter space.
