Keep your hot food pans warm and accessible anywhere with countertop food pan warmers.

Commercial countertop food pan warmers provide a way for restaurants, cafeterias, concession stands, c-stores, and catering businesses to keep their hot food pans hot between cooking and serving. Food warmers are available in a wide range of types, shapes, and functions, so every operator can find one that fits his or her needs. Whether you need a dry, wet, or both operating food warmer, at Burkett we have a nice selection of full size warmers.

Countertop food warmers evenly distribute heat and heat food pans up to the required temperature rapidly. Each food warmer was made to fit on your countertops and is small and economical with space. Fries, nachos, vegetables, casseroles, pastas, and other foods can all be kept at serve-safe temperatures by purchasing a food heater.

Countertop warmers are often used in bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants to keep pastries, buns, bagels, and other baked goods fresh. Pair your food warmer with a heated display case to add some flair to your service.

We have units that have space for full size food pans as well as spots for round quart pans. These units are perfect for serving soups or sauces alongside a pan of grilled sandwiches. They can either be used to serve right out of or used just to hold them at appropriate temperatures.

Food Pan Sizing & Capacity

Countertop food pan heaters are usually between 24" and 30" wide. This ensures their compact size and ability to fit on average foodservice countertops. These countertop food warmers can hold full size hotel pans or multiple smaller size pans. Depending on how much you need to keep warm, you can order models that allow for up to four 1/3 size food pans.

Frequently Asked Questions about Food Pan Warmers

What's the difference between dry and wet food warmers?

Before deciding between dry and wet warming pans, take into account what meals you'll be heating because the density of the food affects how well heat is carried throughout the entire pan.

  • Wet operation - These warmers heat a well of water underneath the food pan to create steam which in turn heats the food pan. Wet food warmers are a well-liked option for buffet-style eateries since steam distributes heat quite effectively, but they require additional care because their water reservoirs must be regularly refilled to keep the tabletop food warmer operating.
  • Dry operation - These units radiate heat directly from the heating element. No need to continuously refill the water reservoir. The downfall of dry operation is that they can leave more hot or cold spots instead of even heat distribution.
