The Berkel MB1/2STD is a high-performance bread slicer that efficiently cuts loaves of bread up to 15-1/2" thick with both soft and firm crusts. Additionally, this device is user-friendly and features a compact design that saves room on kitchen countertops. With a 1/3 HP engine and individually installed carbon steel blades, this bread slicer cuts loaves smoothly and softly from the top. A front-mounted stainless steel bagging trough and an easily accessible, detachable scrap pan are also included. The MB Series bread slicers also offer stainless steel contact areas for simple cleaning and a Sky White, polyester powdered cut finish.
