The Scotsman Meridian HID540AX-1 ice and water dispenser combines touchfree infrared dispensing with air-cooled performance to keep service moving. Producing H2 Nugget Ice, it delivers up to 500 lb per 24 hours at 70°/50° (365 lb AHRI certified at 90°/70°) and holds 40 lb in its built-in bin. An enlarged 11" dispensing area accommodates a range of containers, while SmoothStream water dispensing promotes clean, controlled fills for busy operations.
Engineered for uptime and easy care, this model features sealed maintenance-free bearings, a removable bin, removable spouts and sink, and a removable air filter. An enlarged 0.8" sink drain and recessed utility chase support tidy installations. Built with a stainless steel exterior plus a stainless steel evaporator and auger, it includes AgION antimicrobial protection. Smart touches such as a USB software upgrade port and a unit-specific QR code simplify management. The HID540AX-1 uses R290 refrigerant and comes with a 7.5’ power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug. It is cULus and NSF listed, and engineered and assembled in USA.
