Increase throughput and stay code-ready with the Wells WVU-48, a universal ventless exhaust system that delivers Type-1 compliant capture without external ductwork. Position it over electric fryers, griddles, ovens, or steamers to bring hot-side production to spaces where traditional hoods aren’t feasible.

A 48-inch cooking zone and horizontal air discharge pair with a four-stage filtration train—grease, pre-filter, HEPA, and charcoal—to cut smoke and odors at the source. Airflow sensors and a safety interlock help maintain performance by detecting issues and preventing operation when conditions aren’t right.

The self-contained ANSUL R-102 system adds built-in fire protection, while three LED work lights brighten the line for faster, more accurate plating. Stainless steel construction and adjustable legs simplify cleaning and installation, and the unit can be field converted to vertical discharge when layouts change; replacement filters include two pre-filters (22618) and one HEPA charcoal pack (23312).
