The Vollrath 39952 Affordable Portable™ cold food station streamlines self-serve presentation for salads, toppings, and chilled sides. Its compact 46" x 24" footprint fits tight serving lines while the 35" work surface supports efficient plating and oversight for busy service teams.
Fill the 6" deep stainless well with ice to chill up to three pans, then drain meltwater quickly through the integrated 1" drain. A cafeteria-style acrylic breath guard helps protect food and enhances visibility for clean, professional merchandising, and the NSF listing supports food safety standards.
A walnut woodgrain finish base with doors keeps utensils, pans, and refills close at hand to speed restocking between rushes. Four locking casters let you roll the unit into position, secure it during service, and relocate it for cleaning or events—ideal for cafeterias, catering lines, and satellite cold service where plug-free mobility matters.
