To achieve specified toasting levels, the APW XTRM-3 X*Treme countertop conveyor toaster employs the speed of the conveyor rather of a fixed temperature. Its convection heating mechanism dries the bread before it encounters the radiant heating sources, resulting in toast that is consistently crispy. This toaster can process 1,050 slices per hour due to the independent operation of the top and bottom heating components. Its 1.5" product opening accommodates both English muffins and regular bread slices.

The APW XTRM-3 toaster's bread drawer stores the toast once it has been toasted, keeping it warm and dry until it is ready to serve. Its convection mechanism prevents overheating of internal components while maintaining a cool surface to the touch.
