How Burkett Helped

HATCH for Hunger helps food banks and pantries improve access to protein-rich foods by expanding the cold-storage infrastructure needed to safely receive, store, and distribute fresh and frozen products. With generous support from Eli Lilly and Company as part of its 150th-anniversary commitment, HATCH launched a nationwide initiative reaching 16 participating markets, including Indianapolis, Huntsville, Lehigh Valley, Houston, and Richmond. Ten food pantries in each market will receive added refrigeration capacity through the program, extending its impact across a broad network of local hunger-relief organizations.

Working alongside Partners for Good, Burkett helped bring the initiative to life by supplying the refrigerated merchandisers and supporting the coordination required for a rollout of this scale. Each unit was finished with custom HATCH graphics to create a consistent and recognizable program identity, while Burkett also assisted with logistics and installation support across the participating locations. The completed merchandisers will give food pantries additional capacity to safely store and distribute protein-rich foods, helping them serve more individuals and families in their communities.
