The Thunder Group RER55ASN Rinnai® rice cooker is a natural gas unit with a 55 cup capacity, built to support high-volume service. It cooks up to 100 bowls in just 22 minutes, keeping rice ready for peak periods at Asian or Mexican themed restaurants. Startup is straightforward with a piezo pilot ignition, and a flame failure safety device automatically shuts off the gas if the pilot goes out. A lift-off, removable cover simplifies cleaning between batches to keep workflow moving. The cooker connects via a 1/2" NPT female gas inlet and delivers 35,000 BTU for rapid cooking. NSF and CSA Star certifications round out a feature set designed for busy back-of-house environments that rely on consistent rice production.
