The Berner IDC12-1042E Industrial Series direct drive air curtain creates a high-velocity barrier to maintain comfort and cleanliness at busy openings. Its 42-inch length and 14 kW electric heat help limit air infiltration and drafts at doorways without slowing traffic. Purpose-built for interior mounting, it supports smooth workflow compared with strip curtains or swing doors.
Powered by a robust 1/2 hp direct-drive motor, this unit is rated for doors up to 12 feet high for environmental separation and up to 10 feet for insect protection. Deploy it over kitchen receiving doors, service entries, and dock openings to deter flying pests and maintain temperature zones. Three-phase power supports consistent, efficient electric heat delivery.
Constructed with an aluminized steel housing and durable powder coated finish, the IDC12-1042E stands up to demanding foodservice and facility environments.
