The Berner IDC14-1060E industrial series direct-drive air curtain delivers robust environmental separation for busy back-of-house and facility entries. At 60 inches long, it protects doors up to 14 feet high for temperature control and up to 12 feet for insect protection—keeping traffic moving while maintaining conditions. Deploy it at loading docks, kitchen service doors, or warehouse portals to reduce energy loss and improve workflow.
A 14 kW electric heat package tempers incoming air to help stabilize comfort near frequently opened doors. The direct-drive design with a single 1 hp motor produces a uniform, high-velocity airstream, while 3-phase power supports demanding, continuous operation. Interior mounting simplifies placement above openings without obstructing clearance.
Engineered for durability, it features an aluminized steel housing with a powder coated finish and an aluminum inlet screen for clean intake.
