Engineered for demanding service, the Comstock-Castle CCHRB48 countertop gas charbroiler delivers high output across a generous 48" x 22" grill area. Eight cast iron straight burners, each at 20,000 BTU, work with heavy cast iron radiants to promote uniform heat and consistent results. This capacity lets busy lines fire steaks, burgers, chicken, and vegetables at once without slowing the pass.
Built for longevity and workflow, the insulated stainless steel frame, cast iron grates, and stainless steel splash guards stand up to daily use. A heat reflector under-burner grease shield streamlines cleanup, while 4" stainless steel legs provide clearance for sanitation on the counter. Operators can place the CCHRB48 on the cookline to increase throughput without sacrificing space.
Eight manual controls create precise heat zones, enabling searing, holding, and finishing on a single platform. Chefs and foodservice teams can stage proteins on hotter sections and move delicate items to gentler zones to maintain pacing and presentation. The 160,000 BTU total output keeps service moving during peak periods.
