The Comstock-Castle CSSUHP24 step-up countertop gas hotplate helps busy lines move faster. At 24 inches wide, it concentrates four cast iron octagonal-pattern sauté burners, each delivering 26,000 BTU, into a compact footprint. The step-up layout keeps pans visible and accessible so multiple dishes advance in parallel.
Heavy-duty 12" x 12" cast iron top grates provide broad support for sauté pans and sauce pots. Strong heat retention supports consistent searing, rapid reductions, and steady simmering during peak service. Operators can stage pans across levels to streamline firing and finishing.
