The Crown Steam CE-42 is an electric steam generator built for dependable, day-to-day performance in busy commercial kitchens. Operating at 9–11 psi, it supports consistent steaming for batch cooking, retherming, and holding without sacrificing product quality. Its freestanding 24" cabinet base streamlines placement and access in production lines.
Engineered for safety and control, the CE-42 includes CSD-1 controls, automatic water level control, a pressure gauge, and a water gauge glass for clear monitoring. Pressure control with a secondary safety pressure control and a safety relief valve help safeguard staff and equipment. Automatic blowdown, a split water line, and an included water filter system promote efficiency and water quality.
The stainless steel exterior finish withstands heavy use and simplifies cleaning, while the reinforced countertop and (2) doors support organized workflow. Four 6" stainless steel legs with adjustable flanged feet make leveling straightforward. A steam take off kit is included to support your steaming setup and expedite installation.
