The Crown Steam EDA-2 is a two-compartment electric steamer engineered for busy commercial kitchens. Its 36" cabinet base consolidates high-capacity steaming into a compact footprint, helping chefs move from prep to plate faster. Cook different items at once to streamline batch production, service lines, and banquet plating.
The top compartment switches between pressure and pressureless modes to match delicate vegetables, seafood, or denser starches, while the second compartment adds additional throughput. Simple manual controls and a 60-minute timer support consistent, repeatable results during rush periods. A 42 kW heating package powers reliable performance shift after shift.
Built for longevity, it features a 316 stainless steel interior and 304 stainless steel exterior on 6" legs with flanged feet. Automatic blowdown and a CSD-1 code package support routine operation and safety checks. A water filter system, "Y" strainer condenser feed, and split water line are included to help protect the system and maintain steam quality.
