The Crown Steam GL-40FE gas stationary full jacket steam kettle powers high-volume production with a 40-gallon capacity while preserving precision and consistency. Its full jacket promotes uniform heating across the vessel, helping chefs turn out soups, sauces, stocks, and chili with repeatable results. A stable tri-leg base supports heavy batches on the cookline.
Built for demanding menus, the 316 stainless steel interior liner resists corrosion, while the 304 stainless steel exterior stands up to daily use. Thermostatic control with electronic ignition and a direct immersion thermostat enables accurate temperature regulation and quick adjustments during service. Operators can monitor the process at a glance via the water sight glass and a vacuum/pressure gauge with a low-water indicator light.
Streamline transfers and portioning with the 2" draw-off fitted with the included perforated strainer. A spring-assisted stainless steel hinged cover and faucet bracket support efficient, ergonomic workflows. Safety systems—low-water cut off, pressure relief valve, and pressure control—help protect the kettle and staff during busy production.
