The Crown Steam SX-5G3 gas countertop convection steamer harnesses a 47,000 BTU steam generator with electronic ignition to deliver fast, even steaming. With one compartment sized for five 12" x 20" pans, it streamlines batch production of vegetables, seafood, dumplings, and retherm items during peak service. Operate with confidence using straightforward electromechanical controls, a three-way power switch (ON/OFF/Delime), and a 60-minute electric timer. The spring release door speeds loading and unloading, while automatic fill and drain functions simplify daily operation. An automatic generator blow down valve and split water connections, along with an included water filter system, help support reliable performance.
Built for demanding kitchens, the SX-5G3 features a durable 304 stainless steel exterior and a 316 stainless steel liner, plus removable stainless steel pan supports and a drip trough for efficient cleanup.
