Engineered for high-volume production, the Groen DL-40, TA/3 direct steam kettle mixer delivers consistent results batch after batch. Its 40-gallon, 2/3-jacketed design transfers heat evenly, while the 316 stainless steel interior stands up to acidic sauces and frequent use. Tilt operation streamlines transfers to pans, portioners, or packaging lines.
Agitate, fold, and scrape with the console-mounted, tilt-out twin shaft scraper mixer to prevent scorching and maintain texture in soups, sauces, chili, and fillings. The 2" flush-mounted ball valve and etched level marks support precise batching and rapid, controlled draining. A floor-mounted control console keeps operation stable and organized in busy kitchens.
Use it to reduce, finish, and hold large volumes at up to 50 PSI steam pressure. Direct steam heating helps keep service on schedule during peak production. Stainless steel construction and a 1.7 kW rating support dependable performance across shifts.
