The Imperial Range IHPA-2-12SU step-up gas countertop hotplate is designed for busy, space-conscious kitchens. Its 12-inch footprint pairs a standard open burner with a raised step-up burner to streamline multi-pan cooking and maintain clear line-of-sight on a crowded line.
Each open burner delivers 32,000 BTU (64,000 BTU total, 19 kW) to handle searing, rapid boiling, and finishing tasks with confidence. Use the elevated burner for back-pan items, reductions, or holding while the front burner tackles high-traffic sauté and sear work during service.
Cast iron grates support heavy cookware and stand up to daily production. A stainless steel front and sides with a 5-inch landing ledge create a durable staging area for pans and utensils. The removable crumb tray and 4-inch legs with adjustable feet simplify cleaning and leveling.
