Drive speed and consistency on the line with the Southbend HDO-24SU, a 24" countertop gas step-up hotplate engineered for demanding service. Four open burners—two front and two elevated rear—deliver a combined 132,000 BTU to sear, sauté, and boil with confidence during peak periods.
The step-up design opens sightlines and access to rear pans, streamlining multi-pan production and improving station workflow. Stage sauces on the raised burners while rapidly firing proteins and sides up front to keep tickets moving.
Dial in heat with reliable manual controls, then expedite cleanup with removable cast iron grates and a removable crumb tray. A stainless steel front and sides and 4" adjustable legs support durable, stable placement on busy cooklines. CSA and NSF listed, this unit also qualifies for Southbend’s Service First™ Program.
