The Southbend HDC-12 is a 12-inch gas countertop charbroiler built to drive throughput on busy lines and in compact prep spaces. Delivering 40,000 BTU, it helps chefs quickly grill steaks, burgers, chicken, skewers, and vegetables while maintaining consistent results across rush periods.
Cast iron radiants hold heat for steady searing, while stainless steel burners provide dependable output service after service. A two-position, two-sided cooking grid lets you switch between grate orientations and adjust product height to dial in char and doneness for different menu items.
Stainless steel front and sides stand up to daily cleaning, and a removable crumb tray streamlines end-of-shift maintenance. Four-inch adjustable legs make leveling straightforward on varied surfaces. This model is NSF listed, CSA Star and CSA Flame certified, cCSAus compliant, and qualifies for Southbend’s Service First™ Program.
