The Southbend S48AC-2GL 48-inch gas restaurant range unites four 28,000 BTU open burners, a 24-inch left-side griddle, and a convection oven to accelerate production on busy cooklines. Manual controls and a snap action thermostat help teams hit target temperatures with dependable responsiveness.
Sear proteins, boil stocks, and finish sauces over durable cast iron grates while the griddle handles breakfast standards and high-turn items. The convection oven supports roasting and baking, and the cabinet base keeps frequently used pans and smallwares close at hand to reduce steps during service.
Built for daily throughput, this range features a stainless steel front and sides, a removable shelf and 4-inch front rail for staging and plating, and 6-inch adjustable legs for easy leveling and floor care. Two crumb drawers and a hinged lower valve panel streamline cleaning and service access, while a combined 195,000 BTU output supports fast recovery across stations.
