The Southbend P48-CM gas infrared cheesemelter accelerates finishing, browning, and melting with six high-performance burners delivering a total of 60,000 BTU. With a rapid 90-second preheat, it helps chefs keep tickets moving during peak service while achieving consistent, appetizing results.
Mount this 48-inch unit on a flue riser to maximize line space and streamline workflows. Five-position rack guides and a chrome-plated rack let operators dial in caramelization for gratins, casseroles, open-face sandwiches, and more. Dual valve controls enable left/right operation to match demand and reduce energy use.
