Boost griddle throughput and consistency with the Vulcan VMCS-201 electric clamshell hood. A grooved steel plate and thermostatic control deliver dialed-in temperatures from 200–450°F for repeatable searing and appealing grill marks. LED indicator lights communicate heat status at a glance to keep crews moving during peak service.
Engineered for daily line use, its stainless steel front, top, and sides pair with an anodized aluminum arm for smooth, durable operation. The included plate gap adjustment accessory lets you set clearance for different product thicknesses, promoting even contact without crushing. Two Teflon sheets are provided to support quick changeouts and clean product release between batches.
Running at 3.6 kW on 208V single-phase power, this unit integrates easily into existing electrical service. Finish burgers, proteins, or pressed sandwiches directly on the griddle to standardize presentation while helping shorten cook times. NSF and cCSAus listings support compliance across commercial foodservice environments.
