When you place a secure order on burkett.com, an authorization is placed on your credit card account in the amount of your order. An authorization is a communication from your bank to our payment system letting us know your card is valid and the required funds are available. Your card will be charged at the time of order shipment.

Finance with Credit Key

Credit Key functions as a line of credit, differing from a lease or financed loan. Eligible for up to a $50,000 line of credit, you will receive an instant approval and checking your rate will not affect your credit score. Depending on your order total, you can choose either 4 interest-free payments or up to 12-month terms, and the first 30 days are always interest-free.

Credit Terms

We offer the ability to be reviewed for credit terms for the following business types:

Large Corporations, Multi-Unit Operators, Hospitals: Submit a Credit Application by clicking on the link "Get Credit Application" below.

Government, Public Schools, Colleges, and Universities: Credit References are not required. Submit a Credit Application by clicking on the link "Get Credit Application (Govt.)" below.

Please allow up to five business days for our Accounting Team to review your application and provide a credit decision. If urgency is required, please contact our Accounting Team at 419-241-0670 or by e-mail at accounting@burkett.com to ensure the review is expedited.

Leasing/Financing

Sales Tax

We currently collect sales tax on all orders shipping to the following states: AR, AZ, CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, MD, MI, MN, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI, and Washington, D.C.

Sales tax will be applied during the checkout process for online ordering and during the ordering process when placing your order with your sales representative. The amount of sales tax charged on your order is dependent on various factors, including any applicable state, county, and city taxes which are calculated using your shipping address. County and city taxes may vary from ZIP code to ZIP code.

Laws regarding the collection of sales tax vary by location and are subject to change at any time by state, county, and city taxing authorities. When tax-rate changes occur, Burkett collects sales tax based on the new sales tax rate in accordance with applicable laws, without any prior notification of the tax change.

Organizations with current and valid sales tax exemption may request an exemption for sales tax collection by speaking with a Burkett Sales Representative and providing a copy of a fully executed state exemption certificate to either your account representative or accounting@burkett.com.
