Bars and restaurants that go through a lot of glasses should consider having an undercounter glasswasher available in a convenient location. Commercial glasswashers utilize low water pressure to prevent breakage, and can be found in both high temp and low temp options. Undercounter glasswashers come in different styles, including carousel types, door types, and conveyor types. Carousel types rotate to wash sections of glasses at a time, allowing you to load, unload, and wash simultaneously. Door types are the most common, featuring a small pull down door and a rack that fits glasses easily. The least common for undercounter glasswashers are conveyor types, which features an entrance and exit with a conveyor belt that pulls the glasses along as they are washed.


Should I Choose a High Temp or Low Temp Glasswasher?

High temp dishwashers require no sanitizer, relying on extremely high temperature water to clean and kill bacteria. While this is a very effective method, it usually will require a booster heater and includes a longer cool-off period after the glasses are washed. Low temp glasswashers require an additional sanitizer, but cool off for use much more quickly.
