The S60DD commercial gas range from Southbend is affordable and effective. The front, sides, and high shelf are made of durable stainless steel and are strong enough to resist the abuse of a busy commercial kitchen. The ten cast iron top grates are simply removable for easy cleaning, and the U-shaped burners are made to provide a safe and effective gas flow.

On the LP gas unit, each burner boasts 24,000 BTU, and 28,000 BTU on the natural gas unit. There are two standard ovens on the range, each of which has a porcelain inside and measures 26"W x 26-1/2"D. When used in the oven, the insulated construction helps to maintain heat and conserve energy.

Two detachable crumb drawers that sit under the burners and collect grease and debris make cleaning up less of a hassle. The flame failure safety feature cuts off the gas flow if the pilot light goes out. Operators can quickly recognize the heat settings thanks to red stripes on the metal knobs that control the burners. The Southbend S60DD S-series restaurant range has 6-inch adjustable, stainless-steel legs, making cleaning underneath the range an easy operation.
