You will never have to worry about whether your sandwich is getting an even cooking because the cooking surfaces are grooved and finished with tough cast iron plates. The upper grill plate has a self balancing hinge to provide even cooking throughout the sandwich. This Univex sandwich / panini grill doesn't just cook sandwiches, but is also great for rolls, meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, cheese and any other foods that can be grilled. The control dial allows temperature control to be set up to 572°F and has a built-in timer to keep products from overcooking.

This Univex sandwich grill features a durable and appealing stainless steel exterior which makes cleaning easier. Included is a scraping brush for the cooking surfaces, which will not damage the iron cast plates on the interior. The Univex cast iron grill prevents greases from making it onto your countertops thanks to a stainless steel collecting tray.
