The Carter-Hoffmann SR188 food transport cart can be utilized in a wide variety of foodservice applications. Up to six 18" x 26" sheet trays or twelve 12" x 20" steam table pans can fit on the cart. The heater has high density fiberglass insulation that is 2" thick and has a 200°F heating capacity. A wrap-around bumper is also present to shield the vehicle from dents and other harm.

The EnduraHeat system, which evenly distributes heat inside the cabinet, or convection can be used to heat the food within the Carter-Hoffmann SR188 heated meal delivery cart. Users can switch between these two sources of heat and turn the unit off using the recessed control panel. To ensure that the product is heated to the proper temperature before being served to guests in a hotel, medical facility, or banquet hall, it can reach a maximum temperature of 200 degrees.
