Night covers are often included in the purchase of an open air merchandiser and can help reduce energy costs when the unit is not in use. These can be placed over top of the cooler or even installed in a pull-down curtain that stays hidden while the cooler is being used.


Are open air merchandisers for pre-packaged goods only?

Any commercial refrigerator will note whether they are suited for pre-packaged or open food products. This information can be found in each model's specifications. An NSF rating will cover either open food products or pre-packaged foods. Most open air merchandisers are rated for pre-packaged foods only.
